The Parish Council

Staveley with Ings Parish Council was established as recently as 2004 when the councils representing the civil parishes of Hugill, Nether Staveley and Over Staveley decided our communities would be better served by one representative body.

Since then we have produced two ambitious Parish Plans, which have set out our aspirations for the future.

In 2021, with the contributions and involvement of the community, the Staveley with Ings Community Plan was developed. It aims to set out a direction for the next 10 years, within a process that allows regular reflection and renewal, and enables our community to learn and share achievements.

The Parish Council will work within the new Community Plan to make the community an even better place for residents, businesses and visitors today and for the generations that follow.

The Parish Council meets 10 times each year. All residents are invited to attend. Each meeting involves an opportunity for public participation, consideration of new planning applications and opportunities for discussion about issues related to the parish.
